What sort of people write for The Sun?

A fascinating revelation in today's Sun...

Harry Redknapp says 'I'm disorganised and can't write'

Apparently Mr Redknapp 'writes like a two year old and can't spell'.  This inability to write and spell has, fortunately, not stopped him getting a job as a columnist on The Sun.

Redknapp - Illiterate thicko laughing all the way to the bank (in Monaco, allegedly)
with money given to him by even thicker Sun readers.

The CNN Effect - A2 Mass Media

The CNN Effect in Action | Babak Bahador | Macmillan

We've looked at how governments and corporations can exert influence on the mass media, haven't we?  Yes, we have. You probably weren't listening though.  No matter, you probably wouldn't have understood it anyway.  Let us imagine though that you did listen and understand because that will allow us to look at the other side of the media control 'coin' in the 'pocket' of your 'mind', as it were.

How does the media exert influence over governments, for example?  I'm sure you have your own opinions on this but please bear in mind that your opinions are at best worthless and at worst idiotic.  Far better for you to read the following articles on the CNN Effect and thereby increase your knowledge and thus the validity of your opinions.  Go on then!

The CNN Effect   The CNN Effect and Somalia

'There is a great debate about the relationship between the news media and the foreign policy decision-making process, and the impact the former may have on the latter. Two theories have risen to explain this matter, the so-called "CNN effect" and the "manufacturing consent" thesis'.  Read more here.

Reel Bad Arabs - Media portrayal

Interesting documentary about media portrayal of Arabs in movies etc.  The theme tune to Disney's Alladin is particularly charming, apparently he lives in 'A place where they cut off your ear if they don't like your face'
